Todd Torgersen, President
Todd Torgersen has over 30 years of experience in the group benefit business. After graduating from Florida State University in 1981 with a degree in business, he began a career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. After several successful years as an Account Executive and Marketing & Sales Director with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Todd launched Combined Insurance Services in Pensacola, Florida. His business focus today, as President of Combined Insurance Services, is managing group operations for the company and handling group-specific client needs.
In addition to his degree at Florida State, Todd is recognized as a Certified Health Consultant, grading out in the top 10% nationally. He also completed the requirements for Syracuse University’s Graduate School of Sales Management and Marketing. Todd holds membership in the Florida Association of Health Underwriters and the Florida and National Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Most recently, he became a Certified PPACA Professional, completing the coursework and exams required to gain the designation.
Todd is active in the community as past President of Five Flags Rotary of Pensacola and is currently Vice-President of ARC Gateway. Combined Insurance Services is a corporate member of the Chamber of Commerce in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. Todd has also participated in United Way’s Day of Caring, March of Dimes and served as a cook for Loaves & Fishes. He lives with his family in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Anna Barbee Causey, Vice President
Anna Barbee Causey has over 24 years of experience in the benefits field. After graduating in 1990 from the University of West Florida, Anna began her career with Principal Health Care. After reaching success as an Account Executive with Principal, Anna embarked on her own as an independent agent/broker and began her own business in 1997. In 2002, she merged her practice with Combined Insurance Services. As Vice President of Combined Insurance Services, Anna is responsible for her group clients and for agency administration. Anna is a Chartered Healthcare Consultant®, a Registered Health Underwriter®, and is a Certified PPACA Professional.
Anna is active in many areas of the Pensacola community. She is a member and Past President of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, Pensacola Chapter; member of the National Association of Health Underwriters; Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Health & Hope Clinic; Past Chair and Current Board Member for United Cerebral Palsy; Past President and Board member for the Ronald McDonald House; Past Board Member of IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area; Past President of Liberty Sertoma; Past Board Member of the YMCA of Northwest Florida; Past Chair of the Speech and Hearing Board; Past President for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services of NW FL; and Past Board Member for Grant-a-Wish Foundation. Anna is a member of the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce and the Class of 2001 Leadership Pensacola.
Anna and her husband, Jack, both love to golf and actively study God's Word, engaging others in bible study. When not at home in Pensacola, they can be found at their home in Gulfport, Mississippi or spending their time off attending bible conferences.
Courtney Peterson, Account Executive
Courtney is a licensed benefit representative for the firm. In his role with Combined Insurance Services, he offers consulting services for individuals and groups for benefits such as health, life, disability, dental and long-term care. He also specializes in buy-sell agreements, key-person protection and wage continuation plans for businesses.
Courtney is a life-long resident of Pensacola. He graduated from the University of West Florida with a BSBA in Finance. Before joining Combined Insurance Services he worked for four years as an accountant with a Pensacola construction firm and for two years as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
He is active in several organizations in Pensacola including the Pensacola Runners Association as President, past Treasurer and Past Board Member, Suburban West Rotary and Pensacola Young Professionals as Econmic Development Chair. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors and is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola (Class of 2007). He resides in Pensacola with his wife Erin and daughter.
Cherie Meguess, Practice Leader
Cherie is a licensed agent with the firm and has been in the insurance industry for 17 years. She is the Practice Leader specializing in individual medical insurance and ancillary benefits including life, dental, and vision insurance while also consulting employers with group benefits of all types.
She started her insurance career at CHCS Services-Pensacola where she became the Supervisor of Agent Licensing. She worked in the Pensacola claims office for Auto-Owners Insurance Company, Wellcare-Pensacola as an internal Medicare Benefits Consultant and Humana-Pensacola as an internal Career Sales Agent before deciding to join the team at Combined Insurance Services in 2013.
Cherie is an active member of East Brent Baptist Church where she is a worship leader on the praise team, section leader in the choir and a high school girls' Sunday School teacher. She has volunteered as a cheerleading coach for Upward Sports and the Gulf Coast Youth Sports Association and as a soccer coach for the YMCA-Pensacola. She lives in Pensacola with her youngest son while her oldest son is now an active duty Military Police Officer in the United States Army. She enjoys spending time with her children, traveling and anything beach.
Reid Torgersen, Account Executive
Reid is a licensed benefit representative for the firm. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing. He specializes in individual products, voluntary plans, and product education. His work experience includes serving as a Benefits Coordinator for Baptist Health Care and operating in the financial sector for Morgan Stanley.
Reid is a native of Gulf Breeze, FL and enjoys fishing, boating, playing basketball, golf, and tennis. He is a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
Cary Stidham, Benefits Consultant
Cary is a licensed benefit agent with the firm. Cary has a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years and specializes in Individual Medical Insurance, Medicare Insurance, and ancillary services such as dental and vision. Cary also has experience with life insurance and accident plans.
She started her insurance career at American Income life in Pensacola, Florida. She then transitioned to property and casualty insurance at the Hewitt Agency. In 2008 she was a career Humana agent before joining Combined Insurance in October 2016.
Cary enjoyed public service as an Escambia County School Board member from 1998 to 2006. She is avid in crafting and antique collecting. Cary, and her husband, Darrell, enjoy taking yearly cruises. She is a parent of three daughters and has three granddaughters.
